Why this works now:
Instead of trying to pass a complex object through a function call (which breaks if there are quotes in the product name), the script now stays "on alert." When you click an Edit button, the script says: "Hey, I see you clicked an edit button. Let me look at your data-attributes, copy them into the form, and open the modal."

One Final Check: Ensure you don't have a second toggleModal() function anywhere else in the file, as that can sometimes cause the "dead button" effect if they conflict. Give this a shot—it’s the most robust way to handle it!
